I was totally blown away by the bikes my mate Attanazs is building in Malaysia. So much so, that the Indian’s undergoing a transformation. I’m off to see him in April, so expect some pretty crazy pictures when I get back! Here are a couple of his bikes. They bear a striking resemblance to “Mad Dog”.
At the moment, I’m mocking the bike up in plywood. Very shortly the patterns will be transferred to CAD drawings, and Lazer-cut in steel. Once these are done, I’ll be building the frame, and you’ll get a step-by-step view of it progressing. I’ll also show you how to build a simple jig. At the moment, I’m machining parts for it, including the rear hub and headstock. Chris 20/2/06
